The Dalles Weekly Reminder, June 18, 1982
     Andrew Bernard Kasnick, 95, a resident of The Dalles since 1964, died 
June 9 at the local hospital.

     He was born Oct. 11, 1886 in Gdansk, Poland.

     Mr. Kasnick was a resident of Pe Ell, Wash., prior to moving to The 
Dalles.

     He was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Polish National Alliance, 
Cherry Park Grange, and local Senior Citizens.

     Survivors include his wife, Pallie, The Dalles; three sons, Bob and Jack 
of The Dalles; and Alfred, Poulsbo, Wash.; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-
grandchildren; two brothers and a sister.  A son and daughter died earlier.

     Recitation of the rosary was June 11 at Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral 
Home.  Mass of Christian burial was at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Rev. 
Martin Quigley acting as celebrant.  Burial followed at St. Peter’s Catholic 
Cemetery in The Dalles.
