The Dalles Weekly Reminder, July 12, 1984
Ruth E. King, 57, died Friday at a Hood River Nursing Home.  She resided in 
Hermiston.

She was born March 6, 1927 in Oathe, Kan.

Survivors include her husband, John G. King, Hermiston; a son, Larry King, The 
Dalles; two daughters, Ellen King, Hermiston, and Maria Barron; her parents, 
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Denley, The Dalles; three sisters, Mrs. Joe (Shiela) Weber, 
Umatilla; Mrs. Bob (Evelyn) Taylor, Yolo, Calif.; and Mrs. Laline L. Roberts, 
The Dalles; two brothers, Charles Denley, The Dalles, and Donald Denley, 
Salem; three grandchildren, Jill Valet, Stephanie and Sharon King; and nieces 
and nephews.

Graveside services were Tuesday at the IOOF Parklawn Cemetery with the Rev. 
James Hazlett officiating.  Smith Callaway Chapel was in charge of 
arrangements.
