The Dalles Chronicle, July 13, 2005
     John Patrick Lennon, 58, died on July 2 at his home in The Dalles.
     He was born Sept. 9, 1946, in Brooklyn, NY in the Coney Island 
neighborhood, to Patrick and Isabelle Lennon. 
     He lived in New York until 1973 when he joined the Army. After the 
service, he traveled all over the country with his brother, James, ending up 
in The Dalles in 1984. 
     While in The Dalles, he worked for Blue Ridge Utilities and Moore Rail. 
     He is survived by his twin brother James Patrick Lennon of The Dalles and 
many friends. 
     A gathering for friends and family will be held at his home at 3518 W. 
Second on Saturday, July 16, to celebrate his life with a potluck at noon. 
     Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
