The Dalles Weekly Reminder, August 14, 1987
Wilhelmena E. Macnab, 93, died at a local nursing home Aug. 4.  She was a 
resident of The Dalles.

Mrs. Macnab was born in Ontario, Canada on June 17, 1894.  She attended St. 
Paul's Catholic School and the Notre Dame Convent in Canada.  She married 
Ronald Stuart Macnab in 1918 and they moved to Sherman County and farmed until 
they retired in 1946, later moving to The Dalles.  He preceded her in death in 
1965.  She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and St. Cecelia Circle.

She was also preceded in death by two children, William and Margaret.

She is survived by a son, Stuart Macnab of Wasco; two daughters, Jean 
Witsberger of Cascade Locks and Ann Fleck of The Dalles; 16 grandchildren; 16 
great-grandchildren.

Recitation of the Rosary was followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. 
Peter Catholic Church and burial was at St. Peter Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to St. Mary's Academy Foundation.  Spencer, Libby and 
Powell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
