   Elsie Mathilda Miller, 78, a resident of The Dalles, died at the local 
hospital Monday, Nov. 10, 2003.
     She was born Jan. 5, 1925 on a farm near Krem, N.D., the third of 10 
children to Martin and Amalie (Lauf) Kilber. She married Arnold Adam Bohrer in 
June 1946, in Pick City, N.D., and they lived there until moving to Oregon in 
1960 and settling in The Dalles in 1965. She later married David Miller in The 
Dalles.
     She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and enjoyed her family, 
especially her grandchildren, cooking, baking, canning, gardening and her cat, 
Missy.
     She is survived by three daughters, Sharon K. Bohrer; Patricia L. and her 
husband, Deryl Leonard, The Dalles; and Lola M. Wolff, Dufur; four 
grandchildren, Matthew A. Jones, Jesica R. Wolff; Jayden D.K. Smith, all of 
Dufur and Jaime A. Wolff, The Dalles; a sister, Irene L. Mohl, Hazen, N.D.; 
five brothers, Edgar W. Kilber, Bismark, N.D.; Loren L. and his wife, Delora 
Kilber, Hazen, N.D.; Albert H. and his wife, Marguerite Kilber, Hazen, N.D.; 
Martin E. Jr. and his wife, Ardis, Kilber, Puyallup, Wash., and Robert W. 
Kilber, Wahpeton, N.D. She was preceded in death by a brother and two infant 
sisters.
     Funeral services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church on Friday, Nov. 14, 
2003 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Dorthy Nielsen officiating. Interment will follow 
at Odd Fellows Cemetery on Threemile Road. Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral 
Home are in care of arrangements.
