The Dalles Weekly Reminder, July 21, 1983
     Mrs. Lulu E. Morrow, a longtime resident of The Dalles, died Monday at a 
local nursing home after a long illness.
     Mrs. Morrow was born March 14, 1902, at Hood River.
     She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and had been active in the 
Parent Teachers Association for many years.  She had also been an advisor and 
suppoter of the Rainbow Girls in this community for several years.
     Mrs. Morrow had worked with her husband, Clifford, as a pharmacy clerk 
for many years as well.
     In addition to her husband, Clifford, she is survived by her son, Eugene, 
of Newport, and a sister, Mrs. Lelia Taylor of Portland, and four 
grandchildren.
     Private services were held Wednesday, July 20, at Smith Callaway Chapel 
under the auspices of the Order of Eastern Star.  Private burial followed at 
St. Peter Cemetery.
