The Dalles Weekly Reminder, January 5, 1984
     Ted Edward Neigg, 62, a resident of The Dalles for 10 years, died Dec. 28 
at his home.
     He was born Jan. 8, 1921 in Duluth, Minn.
     He worked in the maintenance department at the Oregon State Hospital in 
The Dalles until it closed and was transferred to the Salem area where he 
worked until his health forced retirement.
     Survivors include Ruth Williams, The Dalles; two brothers, James, 
Minneapolis, Minn., and Robert, Concrete, Wash.; three sisters, Catherine 
Salmela, Minneapolis; Vera Hillman, Woodburn; and Donna Mae Williams, Pacific, 
Wash.; nieces and nephews.
     Funeral services were Tuesday at Riverview Abbey Chapel in Portland with 
the Rev. A. W. Mathias officiating.  Entombment was at Riverview Abbey.
     Spencer, Libby & Powell was in charge of arrangements.
