The Dalles Weekly Reminder, January 16, 1987
Everett J. Petersen, 77, died in The Dalles Jan. 11.  He had lived here for 16 
years.

Mr. Petersen was born May 23, 1909.  He was a member of the Church of Jesus 
Christ of Latter-Day Saints, NARFE, Wasco Lodge #15 AF and AM, and Wasco 
County Pioneers.

He is survived by his wife, Esther, whom he married Dec. 30, 1928; sons, 
Everett J. Petersen, Jr., of Glendora, Calif., and Stanley C. Petersen of 
Boise, Ida.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Smith Callaway Chapel, followed by private interment at 
the Odd Fellows Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for 
Crippled Children in care of Smith Callaway Chapel.
