     Jeanene Faye Rich-Hickman, 50, a resident of Wasco, died at a Portland 
hospital Monday, Oct. 25, 2004.
     She was born April 23, 1954, in The Dalles, the third of four children to 
Elvis Willard and Helen Elizabeth (Hill) Rich. She grew up in Wasco and 
attended Wasco Grade School and Sherman High. 
     She married Paul Hickman on Nov. 19, 1978 in Gresham, and lived in Sandy.
     She moved back to Wasco in the late 90’s and worked as a waitress and 
cook around Sherman County, and cared for her parents.
     She was a member of Church of Christ in Wasco. She enjoyed her horses, 
cooking, sewing, gardening, camping and hunting.
     She is survived by her husband, Paul Hickman; her son, Justin Hickman; 
her father, Elvis Rich, Wasco; her sister, LeeAnn and her husband Don Gibson, 
Sandy; her nieces, Tara Gibson and Verna Simantel; her nephew, Daniel Rich and 
an extended family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Rich in 
July 2004 and her brothers Jack andDean.
     Viewing visitation will be held at Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home 
from 9 a.m. to noon, Monday, Nov. 1.
     Graveside services will be held at Wasco Sunrise Cemetery in Wasco at 2 
p.m., Monday, Nov. 1, with Rev. Jerry Krewson officiating. Smith Callaway 
Chapel is in care of arrangements.
     Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
