He was a resident of The Dalles since 1951. Mr. Rozentals was born in Cesis, Latvia, on Jan. 28, 1926. He married Pauline Dzenovskis in 1946 and brought his family to the United States in 1951 to settle in The Dalles. He worked the first six years here for the Sunshine Biscuit Company, and after completing training in drafting and design, he was employed for Robert Welty Engineering. He founded R and R Drafting, Inc., in The Dalles in 1969. (It is now known as R and R Sy-TEC, Inc. He was a member of Elks Club. He is survived by his wife Pauline; a son Karl; daughter-in-law Sherry; and grandchildren Susan and Kyle, all of The Dalles. Funeral services will be held today (Friday) at 10 a.m. in the chapel at Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home officiated by Dr. James Hazlett. Interment will follow at The Dalles Odd Fellows Cemetery. Pallbearers are Keith Schwarm, Bob Lauderbaugh, Dean Ruggles, Ed Johnson, William Lucas and Hans Salmon. Memorials are suggested to the Senior Citizen Bus Service in care of Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home.
