The Dalles Weekly Reminder, April 29, 1988
Everett Wayne Sauter, a resident of Yakima, Wash., and a former resident of 
The Dalles, died at a hospital in Rockford, Ill, April 21 at age 62.

Mr. Sauter was born Aug. 30, 1925 in The Dalles.  He worked as a truck driver 
for a number of years.

Survivors include his wife Margaret, Yakima, Wash.; two sons, Wayne and 
Franklin, both of Portland; four step-children, Mrs. LaRue Bell, Selah, Wash.; 
Peter, Anaheim, Calif.; Fred, San Diego, Calif.; Cecil, Leviland, Texas; one 
brother, Kenneth I. Sauter, The Dalles; one sister, LaVerna Mae Watrus, The 
Dalles; one niece and two nephews.

Funeral services were April 26 at Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home.  
Interment followed at The Dalles Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Frank Abrams, Ralph Bolen, Bob Hexum, Harlan Hunt, Joe 
Miller, Bill Thomas and Dave Zier.
