The Dalles Weekly Reminder, November 11, 1983
     Lenora M. Schadewitz, 80, a former resident of Moro, died Friday at her 
home in Portland.
     She was born Dec. 29, 1901 in Moro and had lived in Portland since 1942.
     Mrs. Schadewitz was a member of Rose City Park Methodist Church.
     Survivors include her husband, Melvin R., Portland; two sons, the Rev. M. 
Ramsey Schadewitz, Portland, and Orren A. Schadewitz, Yuba City, Calif.; a 
daughter, Mrs. Janet Brem, Albany; eight grandchildren and one great-
grandchild.
     Memorial services were Monday at the Little Chapel of the Chimes in 
Portland.  Burial was at Moro Cemetery.
     Memorials are suggested to the Mid-Columbia Hospice in care of Smith 
Callaway Chapel.
