The Dalles Weekly Reminder, October 18, 1984
     Beatice E. Scott, 84, died Oct. 15 in a Bend hospital.  She resided in 
The Dalles until moving to Bend five months ago.

     Mrs. Scott was born Oct. 29, 1899 in Missouri.  She married Arley Scott 
in Yakima on Sept. 27, 1919.

     She had lived in The Dalles for many years and also had lived in Yakima.  
She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, The Dalles Christian Church and 
the Fruitvale Grange in Yakima.

     Other than her husband, Arley, of 1801 N.E. Lotus Drive, S-211, Bend, 
survivors include a son, Richard, Bend; three grandchildren, Valerie Tow, 
Bend; Sydney Anderson, Pocatello, Idaho and Steven Scott, Mt. Rainier, Wash., 
and five great-grandchildren.  A son, Loren, and four brothers and sisters 
died earlier.

     No funeral service will be held.  Cremation services have already been 
held.

     Memorials may be made to the Oregon Lung Association, 319 S. W. 
Washington, Ste. 520, Portland, Ore., 97204.

     Nisswonger-Reynolds Funeral Home in Bend was in charge of arrangements.
