E. TAYLOR DEAD Bert Taylor received a telegram Wednesday night from and undertaker at The Dalls, Ore., stating that his brother, J. E. Taylor, was dead, and asked for instructions about burial. Jake Taylor was a former business [man?] of Yates Center, leaving here six or eight years ago, and but little has been heard of him since. The body was buried out there. Woodson County Journal Thur Aug 6, 1914 pg 1 Wednesday evening of last week of W. A. Taylor received a message from The Dalles, Oregon, that his brother Jake was dead. We were unable to learn any particulars before going to press. Jake Taylor formerly resided in Yates Center, but had been in the west for several years.
