The Dalles Weekly Reminder, March 27, 1987
     Francis Elwood Tindall, 58, died at his home in The Dalles March 17.  He 
was a lifelong resident of The Dalles.
     Mr. Tindall was born Nov. 19, 1928, in The Dalles.  He worked on tugboats 
traveling the Columbia River.  Most recently, he worked in the maintenance 
department at the Mid-Columbia Medical Center.
     He is survived by one step-daughter, Wanda Sellsted of Willard, Wash.; 
two brothers, Herbert Tindall of Tigard, and Eugene Tindall of Hayden Lake, 
Ida.; three sisters, Elizabeth Case of Rockaway, Juanita Powell of Trinidad, 
Colo., and Kathryn Tindall of Vancouver, Wash.; numerous nieces, nephews and 
cousins.
     Memorial services were held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Vancouver, 
Wash.  Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
