She was born Aug. 17, 1925 in The Dalles. Her maiden name was Macnab. She married Lloyd Vincent Witsbeger in 1980 in Hood River. He died in June of this year. She was a school teacher for many years and retired from the Hood River School District. She was active in her church, Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Battleground, Wash. She was a member of Jolly Boys and Jolly Belles Breakfast Club at St. Phillips Catholic Church in Woodland. She was a former Holy Names nun as Sister Rosalie Therese. She was a gifted violinist and enjoyed swimming and gardening. Survivors include a sister, Anne Phillips, The Dalles, and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial Mass will be held on Monday, July 26, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Arrangements are by Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home in Vancouver. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
