ELIZABETH D. "LIBBIE" (BALCH) DUFUR was born 27 Nov 1856 in Peru, Clinton
County, New York, USA, the daughter of John A. Balch and Caroline Stevenson.  On
29 Dec 1872 she married her husband, Alpha Kingsley Dufur, in Oshkosh, Winnebago
County, Wisconsin, USA.  Alpha was born about 1848 in Vermont; and he died 19
Feb 1896 in Oregon.  Libbie died 12 years later, on 18 Mar 1908, presumably in
Dufur, Wasco County, Oregon, USA. 

She is the mother of Edna C. Dufur (b. 1873 in Wisconsin), Merritt Howe Dufur
(b. 1875 in Wisconsin), and Martha E. ("Daisy E.") Dufur, b. 23 JAN 1880 in
Fifteen-Mile (Dufur), Wasco County, Oregon, USA.
