MARGIE LOCKE was the daughter of Arthur & Bernadette Locke (per the 1910
census). She is the sister of Helen M. Locke, with whom she shares a gravestone.

She was born in 1923, probably in Oregon. She died in 1925, most likely in Wasco
County, Oregon, USA (there is no record for her in the Oregon Death Index). Her
father Arthur Locke was born about 1872 in Wisconsin; her mother Bernadetta was
born about 1881 in Canada (per the 1910 census in Arleta, Multnomah County,
Oregon, USA).

Margie is not a relative of mine, but I was told that my grandmother Alma
(Powell) Richmond would tend the gravesite of Helen and Margie Locke every year
on Memorial Day. She did this as a kindness to the Locke family because they had
to move away from Maupin.
