Morning Oregonian September 5, 1904
Hillsboro,Or.,Sept.4-(Special)- E.L. Craig,charged with being accessory after 
the fact in the Oakman-Bennett murder case,was arraigned late last evening 
before Justice H.T.Bagley and given until Tuesday to have his examination.he 
was released late this morning on bonds in sum of $500,R.b.Bates, a commission 
merchant,going his surety. Oakman was also arraigned last evening,but the date 
fo his examination ws not fixe.Oakman is now the only prisoner in the 
Washington County Jail.
