Ruth Irene Baker, Six Year - Old Daughter of Dr. J.A. Baker, of Gaston , Dies 
Suddenly Monday of Dread Disease.

FOREST FROVE, Or., July 29.
Ruth Irene Baker, of Gaston, died suddenly at her parents’ home Monday of 
diphtheria. She was born at Florence, Colo., February 22, 1902, and came with 
her parents, four years ago, to Gaston. The funeral was held today at 9 A.M., 
with interment at Hill Cemetery, this city.
