Former Canby Girl Dead at Cornelius
Mrs Peter Furley,formerly of Canby,passed away at her home in 
Cornelius,Ore.,last Saturday,after a short illness.The deceased,before her 
marriage,was Miss Emma Hoff,and was born in Chicago 39 years ago,being raised 
on a farm near Zio cemetary in Canby.She was married when 23 years of age to 
Peter Furley,formerly known as Peter Olsen.
Mrs Furley leaves to mourn her loss,her husband,three daughter and three 
sons,and four brothers,J.R. Hoff of Liberal;E.M.Hoff of Salem;C.W.Hoff of 
Portland and M.R.Hoff of Hillsboro.
Mr Furley is the son of Mrs Mary Olsen near Canby,who expects to keep three of 
the children.
The deceased was laid to rest in the Cornelius cemetary last Monday
