She was born in Dodge County, Wis. She moved in 1910 to Portland and in 1911 to Dayton, where she helped her husband operate the Dayton Auto and Transfer Co. She worked for the Dayton Water Department as a meter reader and bookkeeper and for the Dayton Post Office. She was a member of the Pioneer Evangelical Church of Dayton and Eastern Star. Survivors include sons, Bob, Walnut Creek, Calif, and Tom, Arcadia, Calif.; and brother, Charles Ladwig of Wisconsin. Services will be at 2 p.m. at Macy and Son mortuary. Vault interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park, McMinnville. Contributions may be made to the Pioneer Evangelical Church, Dayton.
