be needed:

This is a complete transcription of the will of Mary A. Bird:

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:   That I, Mary A. Bird, 
being of sound mind and disposing memory and over the 
age of twenty-one years, an actual inhabitant and bona fide 
resident of McMinnville, Yamhill County, Oregon, and not 
acting under any undue restraint, do hereby make, publish and
declare this to be my last will and testament, and hereby 
revoke any and all other wills heretofore made by me.
FIRST:
I direct that all my just debts and expenses of my last 
sickness and burial be paid out of my personal property.
SECOND:
I give and bequeath unto my grandchildren, to wit, 
Robert K. Bird and Lois Connley, (children of my deceased 
son Guy K. Bird), and unto my great-grandchildren Harold 
Bird and Mary Frances Bird (children of my deceased 
grandson Harold D. Bird), the sum of One Dollar each.
THIRD:
I give and bequeath unto my son Robert A. Bird the sum of 
One Dollar.
FOURTH:
I give, devise and bequeath unto my daughter Kathleen 
Cummins, all the rest and remainder of my estate real, 
personal and mixed, and wheresoever the same may be 
situated, to be hers absolutely.
FIFTH:
Having full confidence in my daughter Kathleen Cummins, 
I hereby nominate and appoint her as the sole executrix 
of this my last will and testament, and hereby direct 
that she be not required to give any bonds for the faithful 
performance of her trust. 
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and seal 
this the 21st day of March, 1940.
