He is a graduate of the Bloomsburg State Normal School, and has been a very successful school-teacher for a number or years. He has covered fully two thirds of the studies necessary for admittance to the bar. He was converted in 1895, and soon after became convinced that it was his duty to preach. This conviction grew upon him until he yielded. On October 11, 1899, he married Miss Margaret Foxcroft, of Kingston, Luzerne County, Pa. He was a local preacher about four months before joining Conference in 1902, when he was stationed at Decatur. In 1903 he was appointed to Masonville.
