New York: Eaton & Mains, 1904, page 300. ________________________________________________ Chamberlain, Gilbert M., was born on September 14, 1830, in Wyalusing, Pa. He attended Wyoming Seminary one year, when about twenty years of age. Thirteen years later he again entered the seminary and studied two and a half years. He was converted in 1852 at Lime Hill, Pa., and joined the Church at once. In 1854 he received local preacher's license. He joined Wyoming Conference in 1866, receiving deacon's orders at the same Conference. On September 29, 1853, he married Miss Amanda M. Bunnell, of Tunkhannock, Pa. Since retiring from active work he has lived at Tunkhannock.
