New York: Eaton & Mains, 1904, page 322. ________________________________________________ Finch, Adelbert D., was born on June 26, 1870, at Toddsville, Otsego County, N.Y. He received early education at the Cooperstown Union School, and later attended Hartwick Seminary. He was licensed as a local preacher in 1889, received deacon's orders in 1894 and elder's orders in 1898. After serving as a supply under presiding elders for six years he joined the Wyoming Conference in 1900, at its session held in Owego, N.Y. In 1891 he married Miss Nellie M. Bliss, of Toddsville, N.Y. His pastoral record is as follows: 1900-03, Hartwick.
