New York: Eaton & Mains, 1904, page 349. ________________________________________________ Jennison, Levi, was born on January 7, 1848, in Lapeer, Cortland County, N.Y. Through the influence of his brother he was led to Christ in August, 1861. He prepared for college at Cortlandville Academy and Cazenovia Seminary, graduating from the latter in 1871. In the fall of 1871 he entered Syracuse University. He continued there until April, 1874, when failing health compelled him to leave at the end of the second term in the junior year. On July 17, 1877, he married Miss Florence E. Clark, of Groton City, Tompkins County, N.Y. After having been a local preacher several years he joined the Conference in 1879. His pastorates have been as follows: 1879, Nanticoke; 1880-81, Park Place, Scranton; 1882, Parrish Street, Wilkes- Barre; 1883, Morris; 1884-86, New Berlin; 1887-89, Guilford; 1890-94, Chenango Forks; 1895-98, Morris; 1899-1901, Lockwood; 1902-03, Union Center.
