He was a graduate of Pennington Seminary and Syracuse University, and spent some time in study at the Boston School of Theology. He was converted at Madison in 1887, and joined the Church at once. He served North Norwich two years as supply, while in his studies at Syracuse, and just prior to joining Wyoming Conference in 1897. On August 10, 1898, he married Miss Maude E. Holliday, of North Norwich, N.Y. He died November 21, 1902, from a stroke of apoplexy, and was buried in Madison, N.Y. His pastoral record is as follows: 1897, North Norwich; 1898-99, Exeter; 1900-01, Smyrna; 1902, Davenport Center.
