New York: Eaton & Mains, 1904, pages 258-259. ________________________________________________ WADSWORTH, WILLIAM A., was born in New Hartford, N.Y., and died in the same town March 9, 1875, aged forty-five years. He was led to Christ under the labors of Rev. D. W. Thurston. He left a flattering business offer when he offered himself to the work of the ministry. he spent some time in preparation for his lifework in study at the Biblical Institute of Concord, N. H. He joined Oneida Conference on trial in 1855, and became a member of Wyoming with the accession of Otsego and Chenango Districts. His ministry was a revival one. He left a wife and three sons.
