Rott'r. Signed the Declaration of their Fidelity, the 16th Oct'r 1727.
   "At a Council held at the Courthouse of Philadelphia, Oct. 16, 1727...
A List was presented to the Board of the Names of Forty-six Palatines,
who with their Families, making in all about Two hundred Persons, were
imported here in the Ship Friendship of Bristol, John Davies, Mr. from 
Rotterdam, but last from Cows, as by Clearance from the Officers of the
Customs there." From the Minutes of the Provincial Council, printed in 
Colonial Records, Vol III, p. 290.
