LEFEVRE, bank cashier, Littlestown, is a son of Enoch LeFevre. At the age of sixteen he became a student at Franklin and Marshall College, Lancaster City, and after five years’ study graduated from that institution. Subsequently he kept a hardware store at Littlestown for upward of three years, and at the organization of the Littlestown Savings institution was elected its cashier, a position he has held ever since. Mr. LeFevre was married in 1866 to Alice Mehring. They have nine children living: Walter M., Nevin B., Alice S., James A., Carrie B., Edwin L, Claud M., Annie R. and Lulu. One child, Bessie, died, aged six months. Mr. LeFevre lives on and owns 163 acres of the old homestead, at LeFevre Stateion.
