He says he arrived with is parents at Baltimore from Ireland about two weeks hence on the ship Rolla—that they were on their way to Pittsburg—that he got separated from them in Hanover and believing they had come on he pursued the Pittsburg Road. He did not even furnish me those articles—an oven and a broom so that I was obliged to procure them by my own hands. It would also appear as if he had forgotten my name—for it can be proven he said I was a d-------- b-------. I also think it proper to caution all persons from trusting him on my account as I will not pay any debts of his contracting. Barbara Reck Died, on Saturday last at his seat near Millers Town in this company, Thomas Dick, aged about 75. He was a soldier of the Revolution and when he had seen peace and independence given to his country he settled himself quietly down to the humble employment of a peaceful life—by industry and economy made himself independent and died, lived by his friends and relations and respected by all who knew him.
