(Mifflintown, Juniata County, Pa.) February 3, 1892 A postmortem examination of the body of Daniel Mummert, a farmer living near East Berlin, Adams county, who died a few days ago, revealed the fact that his stomach was full of lizards. It was thought that he suffered from consumption, but just before his death, he vomited six lizards and that aroused the physician's suspicions. He was a railroad supervisor, and accustomed to drink water from small springs of water while at work.
