The reunion will be held at the same place next year on August 31. All officers were re-elected, as follows: President, Ervin S. Mummert, Hanover; vice-president, Isaac Mummert, Dover R. D. 1; secretary, Mrs. E. S. Wolf, Harrisburg, and treasurer, William Mummert, East Berlin. A booklet containing two addresses prepared by Willis W. Eisenhart, superintendent of schools of Tyrone, was given to each member of the clan. “Pennsylvania-Germans in the History of the Commonwealth,” and “Pennsylvania- Germans in the Later History of the Commonwealth” are the subjects of the two addresses. The former was delivered last year and the latter was read on Saturday. The morning was given to mutual fellowship. Lunch period was from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Mummert string orchestra furnished instrumental music. M. H. Thomas, superintendent of the Harrisburg school district, delivered an address on the subject, “Fellowship and Goodwill.” Historical notes and remarks were given by Jacob A. Mummert, historian, York. Lillian and Gladys Staub presented a piano duet. Billy Sanders played a trumpet solo. Norman Staub recited. Helen Jane Mummert sang a solo. Recitations were given by Morris Strausbaugh and Betty Rupp. The address from the booklet by W. W. Eisenhart, Tyrone, was read by his sister, Miss Elsie Eisenhart, in the absence of the former.
