MUMMERTS TO HOLD 10TH ANNUAL REUNION

The tenth annual reunion of the Mummert family will be held at Farmers Grove, 
between Abbottstown and East Berlin, Saturday.  Ervin S. Mummert, of Hanover, is 
president of the clan.

The morning will be devoted to young people’s amusements and entertainments.  
Luncheon will be held from 11:30 to 1 o’clock with the afternoon program will 
begin immediately afterwards.  Officers will be elected in the afternoon.

Among the speakers will be C. A. Mummert, of Huntingdon, Indiana:  Donald 
Mummert, of Harrisburg and George W. Baker, of Abbottstown.  Mrs. E. S. Wolf 
will speak on “Some Pioneer Experiences of Mummert Families,” and Charles E. 
Wehler will talk on “Fellowship and Goodwill.”

The musical program will be given by the Mummert String orchestra:  the Bowser 
family:  Lillian and Gladys Staub, Billy Sanders, Harold Sanders, Helen Jane 
Mummert, and recitations by Betty Rupp, Norman Staub, Morris Strausbaugh and 
Kathleen Mummert.

Historical notes will be read by Jacob A. Mummert, historian, and there will be 
memorial tributes to the late Prof. H. M. Thomas, Charles L. Baker and E. S. 
Wolf.
