Atno, late Tuesday night, at Dover, N. J. A telegram was received here Tuesday morning stating that her condition was serious, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. W. Huff, of East King street, left Tuesday evening for Dover, but Mrs. Atno died before they could arrive there. It was just one week ago this Thursday that Mrs. Atno and infant daughter Louise, accompanied by her sister, Miss Esther Huff, left for Dover, after a visit of several months to her parents. While she had been a sufferer of several years from asthma and was subject to severe attacks which tended to weaken her heart, her health seemed unusually good when she left for Dover. She was taken ill Sunday with pneumonia and died Tuesday night. The deceased was aged 25 years, 9 months and 19 days, and is survived by her husband, a daughter Louise, aged one year, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. W. Huff, one brother, Edgar Huff, and one sister, Miss Esther Huff, all of this place. The body will be brought here this Thursday evening. Up to the time of going to press no arrangements had been made for the funeral. The Adams County Independent – Friday, January 30, 1920
