John Axe died in Reading township last Wednesday evening June 21 at the home of 
his cousin, George SMITH, aged 62 years.  He was never married.  Funeral was on 
Sunday, services by Revs. O. V. Long and C. L. Baker with interment at Mummert 
Meeting House.
