Clarence M. Beachtel, 64, a retired farmer, 244 West Myrtle Street, Littlestown, 
died yesterday at 9:50 a.m. at the Warner Hospital, Gettysburg, where he was a 
patient for a week.  He was the son of the late Murray G. and Ellen Boose 
Beachtel.  He is survived by his wife, Mary D. Dutterer Beachtel and 10 
children; Martin G. Beachtel and C. William Beachtel, both of Westminster R.D. 
2; Mrs. Charles Good, Hanover R.D. 1; Mrs. Earl Rebert, Littlestown; Mrs. Wilmer 
Dutterer, Littlestown; John A. Beachtel, San Bernadino, Calif.; Mrs. Russell 
Pottorff Jr., Littlestown; Gene K. Beachtel, Littlestown; Mrs. David Crouse, 
Littlestown R.D. 1; and Mrs. Rose Gerbasio, Littlestown; 24 grandchildren; a 
sister and a brother:  Mrs. Mark Trostle and Ralph Beachtel, both of Littlestown 
R.D. 2  He was a life long member of St. Mary’s United Church of Christ, Silver 
Run, Md., and served on the consistory many times.  The funeral service will be 
conducted Monday at 10 a.m. by his pastor, the Rev. Christopher Noss, from the 
Little funeral home, Littlestown.  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.  
Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday evening.
