James Bingaman, formerly from near Cashtown, died on Saturday, Aug. 31, at the 
County Home, aged 77 years.  He leaves a wife, two sons and a daughter.  He was 
a veteran and had served with the 101st Pa.  The funeral was held on Monday with 
interment in the National Cemetery, Rev. D. T. Koser of Arendtsville 
officiating.
