Jacob Bittinger

Stricken Saturday morning while sweeping the pavement in front of his home in 
Arendtsville, Adams county Jacob Bittinger, for the last 30 years a resident of 
that town, died on Sunday.  His age was 64 years, 6 months and 17 days.

Mr. Bittinger was born in Franklin township and was a son of the late John 
Bittinger.  About 30 years ago he was married to Miss Kate Lupp, a daughter of 
the late John Lupp, who survives him, together with a stepbrother, William 
Bittinger, Franklin township, and a stepsister, Mrs. Emma Hossler, Cashtown.
