A telegram was received on Monday announcing the death of Mrs. Mary Bittinger, widow of the 
late Howard N. Bittinger, at her home at Grand Junction, Colorado, which took place at 2 
o’clock a.m. Saturday, January 11th.

The deceased’s husband was an uncle of Dr. J. H. and Hon. John R. Bittinger, and C. M. Wolff, 
Esq., of this place.  He died in 1885, and was a son of the late Joseph Bittinger, of Berwick 
Twp., Adams county.
