Boose died at his late home in Parkville Saturday night at 11 o’clock from Brights disease, following an illness of nearly two years which became of a serious nature one week prior to death. He was 47 years, 11 months and 25 days. The deceased was a son of the late Peter and Rebecca (Miller) Boose, and was born near Abbottstown, January 6, 1868. About twenty five years ago he was married to Miss Ida Hess, of Bermudian, Adams County, and the most of their life was spent in that county, coming to Hanover near McSherrystown last September. He was a member of Washington Comp No. 728, P. O. S. of A. Mr. Boose leaves his wife and four children: Amanda Rebecca, Hope Ivadelle, Catharine Arline and Ber????, all at home. One brother, Tempest Boose, of Dillsburg, and two sisters, Mrs. James Stonesifer, White Hall and Miss Susan Boose, of Bellafonte, also survive. Funeral Wednesday, Jan. 5th, services at the house at 10 a.m., Rev. C. W. Baker, of New Oxford, officiating. Interment at Christ Church Cemetery, near Littlestown.
