Mrs. Amanda Ellen Bowers, wife of Wm. Bowers, of Harrisburg, formerly of 
Littlestown, died Wednesday of last week from pneumonia, aged about 58 years.  
The deceased was a daughter of John Stear, formerly of Littlestown, now of 
Midway, and is survived by her husband, two sons and one daughter; also the 
following brothers and sisters:  Mrs. Edw. King, of Littlestown; Mrs. Margaret 
Crabbs, of Spring Grove; Mrs. Henry Krumrine, Mrs. Riley Krumrine, and Miss 
Susie Stear, of Midway, and Wm. Stear, of Maryland.  The funeral was held last 
Saturday in Harrisburg from the home of her son, Grant Bowers, interment at 
Harrisburg.
