James Brady died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Henry Kimple, Buchanan 
Valley, Saturday night, aged 87 years, 8 months and 25 days.  Death was the 
result of a stroke of apoplexy on last Monday which was followed by pneumonia.  
Mr. Brady, a farmer and carpenter in earlier years, was born and raised in 
Buchanan Valley and spent practically his entire life there.  He is survived by 
his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Henry Kimple, with whom he had been living the past 
year.  Funeral services were held in St. Ignatius Catholic Church Wednesday 
morning and interment in St. Ignatius Cemetery.
