George Bushey died at his home in Orrtanna Monday noon of last week, aged 83 
years, 11 months and 9 days.  He is survived by the following children, Oliver 
Bushey and Mrs. William Sowers of Orrtanna, Mrs. George Martz of Cashtown, Mrs. 
Curtis Biesecker of Virginia Mills, Mrs. L. H. Bucher of Gettysburg, Calvin 
Bushey of Washington, D. C., Abraham Bushey of York, also by the following 
brothers and sister, Calvin of Kansas, Jacob of Ohio, John F. Bushey and Mrs. 
Sallie Hartman of Arendtsville.  The funeral was held on last Wednesday morning 
at 10 o’clock, interment at Flohr’s church.
