Mrs. William J. Collins

Mrs. Cyrena A. Collins, widow of William J. Collins, died Dec. 23, at her home in Mount Joy 
township, Adams county, from dropsy, aged 59 years, 8 months and 8 days.

Mrs. Collins was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. U. M. Appler, both of whom are dead.  Her husband 
died in June, 1911.  She leaves three children, Leonard U. Collins and Mrs. Maude L. Wolf, Mt. 
Joy township, and Mrs. Bessie I. Boyd, who lived with her mother.  She also leaves one sister, 
Mrs. George S. Baker, of Gettysburg; and four brothers, J. A. Appler, of Gettysburg; John T. 
Appler, of Mt. Pleasant township; Elmer I. Appler, of Mount Joy township; Prof. C. Ross Appler, 
of Melrose, Mass.

Funeral Friday, Dec. 26, services and interment at St. Mark’s church, near Gettysburg.
