Cook, for 33 years one of the best known school teachers in Adams County, died at his home near Aspers on Sunday night at eleven o'clock. He was aged 63 years, 5 months and 11 days. Mr. Cook had been ill for the past five or six years but several weeks ago, he became very much worse, death following as noted. He was one of Adams County's foremost teachers during his years of usefulness and his ability was widely known. Surviving are four children, Melvin J., and Arthur, of Aspers; Miss Lola Cook, who is teaching in the Western part of the county, and Miss Eva Cook, who is attending normal school at West Chester. Two sisters and a brother also survive: Miss Elmira Cook, of Flora Dale; Miss Sarah Myers, of Moglaw; and Rev. Albert Cook, of Johnstown. Funeral from his late home Thursday morning at ten o'clock. Interment at Friends' Meeting House.
