He was aged about 70 years. Mr. Creager was a son of Henry and Catharine Creager, and was born in “Sugartown,” Mt. Pleasant township, Adams county. When a young man he located near Sumner, Iowa, embarking in farming and by industry and an exemplary life accumulated a fortune. Deceased is survived by a widow, five sons and one daughter – Robert, Martin, Arthur, Warren, Harry and Miss Florence Creager. Mrs. L. W. Hershey, of this place, Mrs. Henry Otto and Mrs. Richard Swormstedt, of Baltimore, are sisters of the deceased. The deceased made frequent trips to relatives and friends in this place and vicinity and was known by many Hanoverians. Mr.. and Mrs. L. W. Hershey, of York street, left on Saturday for Sumner to attend the funeral. The Hanover Herald – Saturday, March, 15, 1913
