Crouse and Sons of Littlestown, who died Thursday a week at his home in Littlestown, were held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon from the late home on East King street. The Rev. Kenneth D. James, pastor of St. John's Luthern church, of which the deceased was a member, officiated. Interment was made at Mt. Carmel cemetery in Littlestown. Mr. Crouse was taken ill at Jacksonville, Florida, three weeks ago. For the last several years he had been spending the winters in Florida. He contributed much of his time to civic affairs, serving as a member of the borough council for twenty years, and was president of that body for several terms. At the time of his death he was associated with the Littlestown Development and Improvement company and the Littlestown Cabinet company, and was vice president of the board of directors of the Littonian Shoe company. Fraternally he was affiliated with the P. O. S. of A. lodge of Littlestown and with Paul E. Lau Commandery of Hanover. Mr. Crouse's wife, the former Soenora M. M. Leppo, preceded him in death twenty years ago. Surviving are five children, Mrs. Thomas Staley, Cloy I. Crouse, Nevaeh A. Crouse, Mrs. Wilbur Mackley and Miss Marie H.
