Metzger, 681 Abbottstown street, Sunday morning, March 9, at 6:50 o’clock, from infirmities, having reached the age of 93 years, 6 months and 20 days. The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Weikert, who resided near Bonneauville, and lived most of her life in Gettysburg. She is survived by two daughters – Mrs. William H. Rupp, of Gettysburg, and Mrs. Mary C. Metzger, widow of the late Rev. John A. Metzger, with whom she lived during the past seven months. The funeral will be held Wednesday, March 12th. After services at the house at 8 a.m., the remains will be conveyed to Gettysburg over the W. M. R. R., on the train leaving Hanover at 9:25 a.m. Immediately after the train arrives at Gettysburg the funeral cortege will proceed to Evergreen cemetery, where interment will be made on the family lot.
